Digital Strips Adventures represents one of the most interesting and potentially groundbreaking creative endeavors I’ve ever been involved with. The potential we’ve got here for telling some great stories that fans of all webcomics will enjoy is enormous and I can’t wait to reveal some of the partnerships we’ve already formed.

That said, I’m not going to lie to you, this is the point where the strip was really starting to drag for me. After all, it’s hard to keep things dynamic and moving when the characters are just talking while sitting around a table. And yes, Midnight gets to thump Jerry in the dome, but when that’s the only action, you know you’re in the middle of a big, fat hunk of exposition.

Thankfully, things heat up quickly, and all of this explanation and setup will be well worth it, I promise you that. This first arc is meant to be just that: a setup for things to come. Once this is established and out of the way, the ball starts rolling and there’s nary a chance to catch your breath. So enjoy this downtime and learn all you can because it’s a wild ride from here on out!

P.S. I’m pretty sure Heiko just made up all that time-travel stuff, but not wanting to delve too deeply into that big, bad bag of insanity that surrounds one of the mainstays of science fiction storytelling, I’ll just take it as truth and leave it at that.
