There we have it, folks! The Midnight Cartooner stands revealed! Keep this web page vacuum-sealed and stored away in a safe, dry spot, because this first appearance is sure to be worth a lot someday!
My favorite thing to draw is quickly becoming overly expressive faces. The ones I got to do last week of Midnight (not sure what his alter ego’s given name is… hmm…) were pure joy to depict, and you should expect to see many more in the strips to come! It’s hard to justify tossing in all that detail to further zoomed-out shots, so I’ll just have to come in tight on each and every one of Heiko’s scripts.

As for the remark about his pristine theater, you’ve met guys like Dan, right? Working menial jobs for little pay but they’re ridiculously proud of their accomplishments, as slim and insignificant as they might be?
