Thus begins our look into what life would be like for Truman were Dewey not around to take the punishment from… well, the world at large (but mostly Clovis). It was not only fun to do different takes on these classic Imagine This moments, but it made the strips that much easier to draw considering I didn’t have to write or plot a single thing! And here are the original strips that I have to thank for that assistance:
Of a more substantive impact, I think this is the strip where my Truman finally came into his (its?) own. I can’t explain why I wasn’t able to wrap my head around the concept of tiny little T-Rex arms, but with the first panel of this strip, it is now an element that is firmly in my wheelhouse. Expect more of them, for no good or apparent reason, in every strip and page from here on out.
